Terrain Performance
The Candide Area 91 is the most freestyle-oriented and creative-skiing model in the Candide collection. Thanks to its 91 mm waist width, it offers quick edge-to-edge transitions and great ease of manoeuvring, letting you alternate between the piste, the snowpark and variable-snow zones with total ease.
Its behaviour is dynamic and fun, with good stability when we pick up speed and the flexibility needed to enjoy jumps, tricks and manoeuvres on snowy terrain.
Construction and Technology
It features the C-Free Core, a construction that combines ash and poplar wood reinforced with fibreglass and carbon. This setup achieves an excellent balance of lightness, strength and responsiveness.
In addition, the Triple Radius Sidecut makes for a progressive and precise turn entry, while the Adaptive Rocker profile improves flotation and increases versatility in different snow conditions.
Our Team’s Opinion
“It feels alive underfoot, with plenty of pop for jumps and quick weight shifts, but without the overly soft feel that some freestyle-only skis have. That is why it works just as well for a session in the snowpark as for enjoying carving and freeride.”
Call us and we will gladly guide you on the most suitable size or model for your level, so that you can make the most of your experience on the snow at Wapiti Sports Ski Rental, Pas de la Casa, Grandvalira.
