Terrain Performance
The Candide BC 111 has been developed to perform in open terrain, deep snow and variable off-piste conditions. Its generous 111 mm waist width provides excellent flotation and lets you keep control even when the snow is deep or transformed.
Despite its dimensions, it is surprisingly manoeuvrable thanks to a well-balanced geometry that makes direction changes easier and brings confidence on technical descents.
It is a ski designed for those who enjoy exploring the mountain beyond the marked pistes, looking for natural lines, powder snow and demanding terrain.
Construction and Technology
It features the C-Free Core, a construction that combines ash and poplar wood reinforced with fibreglass and carbon. This setup provides excellent stability at speed, good absorption of terrain irregularities and a progressive response in any situation.
The Triple Radius Sidecut promotes a smooth and controlled turn entry, while the Adaptive Rocker profile increases flotation and improves manoeuvrability in deep snow, allowing the ski to adapt easily to different conditions.
Our Team’s Opinion
“The rocker on this ski is impressive: because it is so pronounced, it makes the effective edge shorter, which makes edge changes easier despite its wide waist. It is special for freeride sessions and super versatile; you can ride switch, it is stable and it floats like a water ski. It is ideal for experienced skiers looking for a ski capable of performing in powder snow without giving up stability and control when conditions get more demanding.”
