Performance on the Mountain
The Candide BC 111 was developed for open terrain, deep snow and demanding off-piste conditions. Its generous 111 mm waist provides excellent float and maintains control even when the snow becomes deep or heavily tracked.
Despite its size, it remains surprisingly manoeuvrable thanks to a well-balanced shape that makes direction changes easy and inspires confidence on technical descents.
This is a ski for those who enjoy exploring beyond marked trails, searching for natural lines, powder stashes and challenging terrain.
Construction and Technology
It features the C-Free Core, combining ash and poplar wood reinforced with fiberglass and carbon. This construction delivers excellent high-speed stability, effective terrain absorption and progressive responsiveness in all conditions.
The Triple Radius Sidecut allows smooth turn initiation and controlled edge engagement, while the Adaptive Rocker profile improves float and manoeuvrability in deeper snow.
Our Team's Opinion
"The rocker profile on this ski is impressive. Because it's so pronounced, the effective edge feels shorter than you'd expect from a ski this wide, making edge-to-edge transitions surprisingly easy. It's a fantastic freeride ski, incredibly versatile, stable and capable of skiing switch when needed. It floats exceptionally well while maintaining excellent control in more demanding conditions."
