Construction and Technology
The CAPiTA Mega Mercury is a directional twin. Its shape features a camber that ends, at both the nose and the tail, in a rock-out (Wah-Pow! Flat Kick Technology), which lets you get more pop out of the board very comfortably. It is a very lightweight, powerful, highly responsive board with a stiff flex.
The Mega Merc features a premium construction developed to deliver maximum performance and response at minimum weight. Its hybrid core combines selected wood with ultralight technical materials, and brings together several technologies: Hybrid HolySheet™, Tri/Tri Fiberglass + MegaCarbon™ and Magic Bean™ Resin. The result is a very lightweight, very powerful and very responsive board, without sacrificing stability or control.
In addition, its directional shape promotes flotation in powder snow and makes for stable handling when the terrain gets much more demanding.
The combination of advanced materials, a high-performance sintered base (Pitech 9000) and an all-mountain freeride construction makes the Mega Mercury one of the most complete and technologically advanced boards from CAPiTA.
